Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. Three manatees rest and warm themselves by a freshwater springhead pumping out clear blue water. Mangrove snapper, Lutjanus griseus are present in the spring. A boardwalk or viewing platform is visible amidst the numerous trees. Horizontal orientation split image with sun rays and blue water.
