Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. A young manatee looks out while holding on to a fallen log with its flippers. The snout and whiskers are prominent. Horizontal orientation with sun rays and mixing blue and aqua waters. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
