Florida manatee, Trichechus manatus latirostris, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, endangered. An adult warms itself while floating in the blue spring freshwater. Vertical orientation with reflection. This manatee is undisturbed and peaceful in its natural winter home. Three Sisters Springs, Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay, Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida USA.
